hey, what's the deal with scott? how come he never posts on this thing? does he not like us? i'm confused. some of you have asked me to start giving scott and larry a chance to speak during concerts. this is a perfect example of why i refuse to give them the floor. all scott would do is silenty stare at the mic while larry talks about 80's bands. see, i'm doing you a favor. i know you'd rather hear about courdaroy, queen, and music biz gossip. right?

the show on saturday was fun. soulbox charmed us all with their voices and verde was light and lazy. my parents were in the audience with a video camera so at least one view point will make the vh1 special. lux liners had a light and comfortable set. no problems, fights, or arguments. the new songs went pretty good again. people seemed to be digging them i guess. i wish we could make a record. look at this setlist. it'd be a good track list wouldn't it. oh well. maybe one day. until then, we can make crummy home recordings of our songs. i plan to post a couple acoustic songs in the coming weeks. talk to you later.

the show at 12th and porter last night went pretty good. we busted out some new "outfits" for the occasion. green cords and gray name shirts. i was compelled to tell the audience how "comfortable" a nice corduroy pant can really be. since it as a music conference that we were playing at, i made sure to talk a lot of "biz" from stage. i even tried to encourage people to "reach for the stars because dreams do come true." it was a total cheese fest. as usual, some people "got it" and others didn't. we' were total dorks to them. or maybe we were total dorks everyone. mine and scott's parents were there so we had lots of positive encouragement after the shows. dorks or not. tonight we rock out with soul box and verde. i'm doing double duty playing bass for verde and guitar for lux liners. once again, scott will be signing autographs after the show.
here's the set list. short and hopefully sweet.
1. sunshine - my first time to not cheat and read the words
2. fifteen again - someone told me they have that same feeling.
3. new beginning - "that's right, reach high, just try"
4. dreaming - new song. my parents said the music was appropriately "dreamy".
5. it's you - "i always knew that it would happen"
6. shake it up - extra metal-ish last night.
7. waiting for the sun - rock out!
8. waiting game - larry did a super rock-n-roll jump on this one.
