What? lance bass in space? what has this world come to? first he stars in his own movie. then he has a cameo in the new star wars. now he's going to be an astronaut? this guy is amazing.

okay, here are some more fun treats. lunacy. link taken from yewknee.com.

this site just made me blow cocoa krispies out my nose. the language is r-rated but it's all in the name of a good laugh. i couldn't help but share the "morons at heathrow" with you. found the link on david bean's assembly required site.

well, it looks like lux liner scott's dreams will almost come true this summer. david lee roth and sammy hagar are planning a possible summer tour together. who would imagine these two egomaniacs actually getting along? oh wait... they'll be getting paid big bucks to take advantage of van halen fans. of course they'll get along.

i just got one of those mass email forward things that are always annoying, stupid, and sappy. for some reason i checked this one out and i really liked it. most days i have a hard time thinking outside of the nashville city limits. if you're bored today, go check out the miniature earth.

Boy oh boy. I finally found something worth mentioning. Just came across this on the new RELEVANT magazine. they don't really mention where the information is coming from but i assume it's no joke.

"Ryan Adams has covered The Strokes' debut LP as a blues record? apparently just for fun. He recorded the album in full on a four-track, but the album will probably never be released. He tells NME.com "My band has heard it, they all think it's pretty funny. It isn't making fun of The Strokes, it's because I really like them a lot" ..."

i'd love to hear it. if only he could only put a white stripes spin on it... that would be the ultimate flavor of the month concoction. in liner news, we practiced monday. just spent time on three new songs. hopefully one or all will leave the basement and come to a venue near you soon.

hey, it's evan dando's birthday today. he's 35. happy birthday. it's weird when rockers get older. when kurt cobain killed himself he was 27. that seemed like such an old and mature age. now i'm 28 and i feel like a middle schooler. evan dando's 35 years don't seem so old me now. i'm depressing myself. let's talk about the band.

our show on friday was a bunch of fun. it felt so good to be back. i was happy to find that we still remembered how to rock. de novo dahl was gorgeous and intriguing. people kept talking about their voices. only two people seemed to like our newer songs i guess. stephen told me he liked one of them and sean told me he liked another. i can't remember any silly in between song moments except an o' brother where art thou speech. here's the setlist.

1. sunshine
2. fifteen again
3. new beginning
4. over bored (new)
5. dreaming
6. waiting for the sun
7. it's you
8. shake it up
9. equasue (i can't wait)
10. restless
11. without you
12. woman
13. just to dream (new)
14. the waiting game

i went to the verde show last night. it was my first time not to play with andrea. she and the band did really great and i'm positive it was better than when i was in the band. lifeboy keith and verde brian make a great rhythm team. andrea's voice sounded really good, her solos were scorching, and she seemed strong and confident. i was a little disappointed to realize they don't need me. but i'm happy they are back on stage and better than ever.

tonight we rock the basement! de novo dahl was amazing last night so i'm really excited about their acoustic set tonight. joel and mark are two of the best harmony singers i've heard since lux liners 1997. :)

oh yea, i think we're about to book another rock show for later in the month. we'll keep you posted.
