our indiana acoustic tour was an absolute success. this year we had the idea to play acoustic places and cram everything into a car that we actually own. it totally worked. when we play rock show we have to rent a van or something to get everything there, so we're always out money from the start. our tour "bus" last weekend was a 1999 nissan altima. it was kind of embarrassing as we "loaded in" to each club. we could get everything in one load.

our first show was at a place in indianapolis called the house. just as we were pulling into the city limits it started to snow. that was pretty cool... until the guys got us lost and i ended up driving on extra snowy roads. (hey, i'm from texas.) the venue was totally cool. very nice and clean. trevor, zac, and the rest of the staff were really nice. they served me one of the best sandwiches i'd eaten in a long time. the concert went well and the sound system was great. we met a bunch of new friends and had a really cool jam session after the show with future rock stars anti hero. i posted some pictures from the night on our photos page.

our next show was in evansville, indiana at a place called the rev. i'd been there before with the verde crew and i wanted the liners to go. the guy that runs the place, derick, is a really cool guy and he made all of the bands a big pot of chili before the show. we were the only acoustic band of the night but i think it was a good contrast. after the gig we stocked up on free sodas and candy bars and hit the road.

road tunes included: rhett miller, shaun groves, u2 greatest hits, innocence mission, jetpack, coldplay, and a bunch of other stuff i can't remember.
